The name who earned millions with Monero (XMR), spoke (which he bought at the age of 14)

The young Ukrainian politician, who was understood to have 185 thousand XMR with his assets announced recently, told his story.

A few days ago it was revealed that a young 19-year-old Ukrainian politician had an investment of $ 24.5 million in Monero (XMR) in an asset declaration. This young politician named Rostislav Solod bought the XMRs he held in 2015, when he was just 14 years old.

The XMRs he reported were essentially the only property owned by the young politician himself. Everything else in his statement belongs to his family, including real estate, cars, and trademarks.

Speaking to CoinDesk on the subject, Solod said that he started to be interested in cryptocurrencies while he was at school in 2014, but he found cryptocurrencies like Monero more attractive than Bitcoin. Solod stated that he sees Monero as a more suitable cryptocurrency due to its anonymity and demand in darknet markets.

Solod, who was elected to Ukraine's Kramatorsk city council, stated that he had saved Monero on stock exchanges throughout 2015 and used the money his family gave him for an unrealized business project while making this investment.

“I never liked the school,” Solod said, adding that he spends a lot of time studying financial markets and learning about cryptocurrencies.

Also, Solod said that he is considering entering cryptocurrency mining but has not decided on which coin to mine so far. The young politician added that he plans to invest some money in the Efforce project, of which Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, is one of the founders.

185k XMR at a price of $ 0.36

Solod bought XMR assets for a total of $ 66,000. Compared to today's $ 140 price, XMR was just $ 0.36 that day.
